Coding for emotion. For diverse minds and emotional realities.
We optimize for performance, logic, and clean architecture — but forget one thing: users don’t experience our products rationally. They feel their way through them. Shame, trust, frustration, joy — these emotions are shaped not just by design, but by code.
This workshop is a hands-on exploration of the emotional layer of UX — and why developers play a central role in shaping it. After a short keynote on how emotions influence user behavior, participants will work in small groups, each focused on one specific emotion (like shame, fear, or pride) and a neuroinclusive persona.
Together, we’ll unpack how technical decisions affect emotional experience — and how to design flows, defaults, and interactions that reduce friction, build trust, and support real human needs.
You’ll leave with:
• A new lens on user behavior — through emotion and neurodiversity
• Practical tools for emotionally-aware implementation
• And a deeper understanding of your role in creating products that don’t just work — they feel right.
Because in the end, the best code doesn’t just run. It resonates.
